Just got a 120y wagon.
Can you get extractors for them and if so where? Im in Adelaide.
Also what is the largest exhaust size that you can go to like 2 inch or whatever?
Cheers.

Yes you can get extractors, they could be a 4 into 1 style or a 4-2-1 style. They also have different flange plates depending on what motor they're for. The 120y ones I have in the shed fit on a round port head, I would have to grind a bit out of them to fit them onto an oval port head and get them bent if it was to go onto an A14 or A15 because of the extra height of the blocks.

I've never bought extractors from a shop so I wouldn't know what sorta coin they go for

I doubt it, are the differentials identical in all dimensions barr the pinion flange? In Aus we got the H150 for early models and a borg warner rear axle for the later model local assembled b210, you'd have to use the axle and tailshaft.

In Japan and USA, the 1974s have the H145 and the the 1975s have the H150. I don't know if you can swap the flanges, but why would you want to? The 1970-1974s use one driveshaft, and the 1975-1994s use the other. Neither is exactly rare.

My new turbo setup is nearly done :)

550hp T58, Tial 38mm gate, custom manifold/dump/etc. On pump fuel it should go 330rwhp on about 20psi but I guess that remains to be seen.

Will post some pics once it's together.

Interested in more pics of L-series engines in 120Ys. Wanting an idea on clearance around the motor - particularly in front but also behind if there's any room to move, and at the sides.
