Just noticed difference in front grilles on blue 120y I have just bought and my orange 2 door, are the differences just because of date of production?

The main difference is one has an early (1974-1975) grille and the other has a late (1976-1978) grille. The cars could both be the same year, but the grilles are not.

Nissan Europe may have some parts. It takes searching to find B210 body panels. From time to time a new old stock part will appear on eBay.

Hi guys I was just wondering if anyone might be able to help me out, I am trying to work out what shade of yellow my 1977 120Y is. Been looking through the tech wiki but not seen anything that matches mine.

This is my 120Y-

The car has been through a lot of changes in the time ive had it-
It was originally blue with white bumpers but rust and fading paint made me paint it belladonna purple, however I wasnt too happy with the paint job the car is now vinyl wrapped matte grey with a black bonnet.

Although the vinyl wrap looks quiet nice its just not the same as a nice shiny paint job, so now that my 78 falcon is almost finished I figured its time to strip the car back and paint it properly and fix the few dents that have been annoying me since ive owned the car. Plans for the car now are to strip the vinyl off, rub the car back, fix all dents, flare guards to fit some some JDM wheels hoping to fit 14x9s and 14x8 or might just use the wheels pictured above (wheels from my ta22 celica) as my ta22 is getting flares so will need some wider wheels the 14x7.5s just wont cut it anymore ahha

Paint wise im thinking either a dark gunmetal grey or a mercury silver. Not too sure just yet, the riverside 120Y is what im using for inspiration haha (someone posted a pic a few posts ago of the car, it was originally dark blue before the dark brownish paint went on)

Engine wise im looking into a ca or sr swap, so ill need to looking into suspension and brake upgrades.

I want coilovers in the front so thinking of modding some s13 coils to fit.
Has anyone done this on here? I cant find any info on the conversion but cant imagine it being too hard. But if someone has done it and can shed some light on what I need and any problems that may happen that would be great!

Looking very good Steve.

Andy, it looks very orange to me. Do you have a photo where it looks more yello? Does the sticker on the core support have the code? Or the Paint Colour stamped on the aluminum tag?
