that b6 asket looks nothin like any a series gasket i have ever touched.

the bores a closer together, the holes for coolant etc dont look any where near the right spots.

E series looks easier by far, and that vauxhaul one (probably the vectra here, early model ones not barina)

that vauxall head COMPLETELY covers the pushrod holes by the looks of it.

a lot easier - but how hard are they to find...

his head on the original 1600 bottom half makes 265hp well fully tuned, so maybe if i ever get this conversion done the N/A A series might see atleast close to those numbers.

They are pretty impressive numbers for a naturally aspirated 1600, I am keen to hear more about this Vauxhall engine.

Did you say you had the valves opening and closing?

yes.they only do that in a bore 76mm or over though....

this head on the original 1600 bottom half makes 265hp well fully tuned, so maybe if i ever get this conversion done the N/A A series might see atleast close to those numbers.
