I am after a 120Y coupe, preferably in good untouched condition, but dont know what they are worth.
Example:
I MAY get a 75? 120y coupe,
Blue
5spd manual
75,000 origional k's...or miles (unsure which format they were)
1owner
no rust, dents, paint like new, always garaged.
Rego, but no rwc (however passed one less that 6months ago).

At the rate 2nd hand Dattos are going at the momeny, probably $10,000

Nah seriously, probably $3000-$3500 but 5 speeds are rare as hens teeth in a 120Y... so maybe it's worth a bit more

with the 5speed around $1400 without i would pay $800 if it was a 1200 with 5speed around $4500 to $6000

a 75,000k mint 5-speed coupe... does such a thing exist?

I too reckon $3500 to an enthusiast (I would pay that if I was after such a car)

I think that a 120Y coupe in pretty in good condition would be a sought after car, they havnt reached the cult status of some of the older Datsuns but their time is coming.

As they came from the factory in Japan with the L series engine option, the L series conversion is quite simple, which makes them the potential performance powerhouse of the early Sunny range.

There is one for sale in bris at the moment for 4600. He tells me he is not yet interested in an offer

if i was to sell one of mine i would want about $1600 but looking at these prices i might reconsider.. but im not selling so NER

if it is mint and does have a 5spd, then around $3K sounds reasonable. But i wouldn't pay that much without reg and rwc

A normal standard 120Y coupe or sedan in VGC - eg usual high mileage but straight and no rust, paint in good nick and good mechanically - I wouldn't pay more than $1500, and work down from there based on condition.

you all thought i was mad to have mine and now i have 2! HA!

i would be happy to pay $3-3500 for a nice straight 5 speed coupe, the gearbox is worth heaps and the car itself lends itself to the L converison and is very fun to drive.
