Sounds like your weber -> manifold gaskets are leaking. Also could be leaking in through the butterfly axles.
Either way..it's running lean at idle. air/fuel ratio is harder to balance at idle, and more prone to be affected by leaks. The BOV noise was an intake backfire caused by lean mixture. As you say it's started doing this lately, either you have an air leak or the idle jets are getting blocked.

ok, things arent so good anymore, well the utes running fine. BUT, now on the fuel pressure guages its running at 7psi. it used 2 be running at 3-4 psi. wat could have caused this 2 rise like that, from memory it was running back at 3-4 yesterday, i have a full talk of fuel, and thats all i ahve really done, wat has caused the rise, and is it safe 2 drive like that

Sounds like you must have always had a slight leak somewhere and now it sealed it has a 6-7psi pressure that it mite have been like the whole time with a leak. You have a regulator right?.. will just have to set it to 2 or 3psi

Main problem i can see is the needle vavles overloading, float bowl over filling and causing a fire man, have you got another pump to try?
