ok, things arent so good anymore, well the utes running fine. BUT, now on the fuel pressure guages its running at 7psi. it used 2 be running at 3-4 psi. wat could have caused this 2 rise like that, from memory it was running back at 3-4 yesterday, i have a full talk of fuel, and thats all i ahve really done, wat has caused the rise, and is it safe 2 drive like that

yep its all fixed, was a leak on the manifold, so relived now

Sounds like your weber -> manifold gaskets are leaking. Also could be leaking in through the butterfly axles.
Either way..it's running lean at idle. air/fuel ratio is harder to balance at idle, and more prone to be affected by leaks.
The BOV noise was an intake backfire caused by lean mixture.
As you say it's started doing this lately, either you have an air leak or the idle jets are getting blocked.

What fuel pump are you using.
Use the reg and set it to 1.5psi at idle, then make sure at higher revs the presure does not drop off, if it does you need a pump with more flow.
If you dont have the reg, take it to the shop and tell them to fix it. Did they work on it before?

so ya reackon this will fix the problem, having a regulator?, annoying cuz the shop told me i didnt need it, so i sold it off.

im pretty sure tommyis running a fuel reg, i sold him a malpassi with the setup off my old turbo motor.the needle valves are brand new im not saying they wont go but if u are still using the reg then it shouldnt be them.
