Steve one thing you can do is take out a AD in the local paper and give a genarl warning about them. Tell them this too that your part of a car club etc, you use all the internet car clubs and will take further action unless they can do what they were supposed to do right the first time.

Word of mouth is the best form of advertising and this can swing both ways.

i was charged $200, they supplied new front screen and fitted both front and rear screens. this was for the coupe, screen had to come up from Sydney

I once paid $40 to get my windscreen fitted using proper sealant.

And just remembver guys....its only the one Instant windscreens that horde total asswipes..

Best bit is.....bad businesses do tend to shut shop as word of mouth spreads...seen it happen here in WA where a couple of pirate club member shops have shut down.

Looks like this Instant Windscreen joint is a Franchise setup. Go to the top. Give headquarters a ring and put it to them.

Had a similar problem with a Midas at Strathpine. Ripped my son off with brake work where they charged me but the work was not actually done. I got his money back and the Midas at Strathpine is now shut.

as we use these guys at work to install new windscreens and most vehicles only cost $165 fitted and thats a new screen as well
