Hard suspension and jumping roundabouts will break engine mounts. But more likely just their age made them fail.

You'll see rally prepped cars actualy use a tight chain from the chassis rail to the engine, to stop it flying out on a rollover.

Did you know that in high impact car accidents it's typical to find a persons heart actually outside their body..it's called momentum, and hearts are heavy little suckers.

Sorry, I have no leads on Nolathane engine mounts.

For a 37 year old car they are in ratty condition.
SUSPENION WHERE THE 1000 Feel,s solid mounted she is super ridged to much so for my liking.
Might of done the evil canvil thing before i bought her.I've not had her air born yet.
I have never hit a kerb or a rounda bout . they are good for drifting through but.
thought of chaining the bitch down but not an option as. I wont the pretty look. thank,s any way. I'll keep tring.

For good set of mount's I would pay two hundred and fifty.
Pay's not to close the fist to tightly when buying part's
(good one's any way).
My Extractor's got massive dent in one pipe because off major contact to the idler arm mount. whislte I put her into tight right corner's . sound's like an ozzie pumpping out lead.
THE CORTINA mount's are a very close match.
Are the height the same as 1000 .
Diameter , dont matter can doctor steel engine mount to style up correctly ,
Because the air cleaner is a skin of a tooth away from the top insde tunnel ram. (fibre glass bonnet scoop) *hornet style*.

Have organized set of 1000 mount's form Burnie and Tim at AUTO ONE.
Waiting week or so.
