run out in the datto a couple times (buggered fuel level sender ) worst was about 2:00am on a weeknight on the western ringroad in sunshine ..... those of you in the melbourne area may understand my distress at the time !!!!! got offered a lift by 2 girls in a commodore but couldn't convince myself that it could be the chance of a lifetime, so i walked for nearly half an hour to find a servo that was open, to buy a jerry can and fuel then walk back to the car that i left sitting on the side of the freeway. stressed the whole time about the car .... and my dog that i left in there for security reasons .... but it all turned out good in the end

funniest time was with a mate in his comodore ute ... crossing the westgate bridge heading into melbourne he made the comment that we should get fuel, the car started to splutter as he finished saying it then stalled .... we were still on our way up the bridge but had just enough pace to make it to the top and roll down the otherside and into the servo and up to the pump

well, usually people are completely aggro about any delay at the pumps, but the guy in back hopped out to help push and started gushing about old dattos

afterwards he gave me his realtors card

fuel gauges are useless with lpg, sometimes it's 1/2 full then it's full.

i've run out on a steep hill right before the gas station. luckily i keep a spare bottle incase ;)

I nearly run out everytime 2 weeks, i dont have a working fuel gauge and the speedo's stuck so the odometer doesnt work either... Kind of sucks but im getting use to pushing the old girl!
RACT free $10 of fuel on roadside assistance is awsome when this happens alot

Yeah, I gotta keep an eye on my work truck. The guage will read half full when it's really half empty. Ya gotta watch that.
