The answer is simple
"There is no replacement for displacement" Go the A15

The answer is simple Yes there is it called knowing how to build an engine right. What will be the application of the engine thats the first thing ?

yes what is it used for?
An A15 has more displacement, and also a lower max rpm. So if you don't mind going to 9000 rpm, an A14 makes a little more HP, but the A15 makes a little more torque.

'theres no substitute for cubic inches'
but revs are sweet.. depends what you want to do with the engine, it will be much of a muchness..

A14 = revs/topend hp, A15 = torque/burnouts .........
spend enough on either and get it built right and you wont be dissappointed

the difference is little. i use a A15 cause i weigh over 100kg so i thought the torque would help lol!
