They seem to have numbers between $250 & $450 hanging around them when I have seen them on offer, depending on condition.

Perhaps it's time for someone to start making fiberglass GX style hoods? If anybody has the means and can get a GX hood (maybe someone's nice enough to lend theirs for a mold) I'm sure there would be a market for them.

I do have a spare one and looked into getting a fibreglass one made BUT they have to pull the original one apart to make a copy of the skin thus destroying it. Thats not a path I want to go down.

I'm still looking for another way.

I have been offered $700 plus for mine, although it is in perfect, never damaged or rusted condition.
Still, I would have trouble letting it go unless i got an offer too good to refuse.
I dont know where i would get another.
