Hi Phillip,
If you cut down the long tube to suit the short axle & cut the long axle to suit the short tube, you'll end up with the correct width.

Presuming you're paying someone to shorten.....
I'd cut all the brackets / mountings of the diff beforehand.... Will save you $$$.

Hi all,
I'm about to get an r31 sillo diff and was wondering the dimensions of the work that needs to be done. Also if any Adelaide members know of somewhere to get it done as I live in Alice Springs but am getting it from there and have ways to get it to shops could you let me know or even better let me know you can do it
