yeah I'm one of the darkside... I use a different name in here to hide my identity.

We usually meet on a Thursday night and talk about our projects instead of working on them...

haven't found the su's yet but i know where they are .... i've narrowed it down a little from "in the garage somewhere ??"
haven't even come close to thinking about pulling the diff out yet and have to go to melbourne on sat morning and back sunday morning ... will see how i go on friday arvo at getting it out - i will attempt it in some way this time !!!!!! at least if i get something undone then i'll be more inclined to actually finish the job

and bumpity bump as well

thought i'd chuck in a progress report... cause i'm bored

got the 180sx fixed, thursday and friday night (managed to snap a manifold stud in the head just to make things interesting)

got the motor out of the ute today... oh yeah and picked up the second rebuilt turbo, first was $300 but this one was $700 OUCH!!!. intersting thing i found after taking the motor out was that an inlet manifold stud was missing

have remembered i'd like to get the setup tuned before driving it, so not sure if i can have it ready for cruise

but i started up the orange car (a15auto) again today and took it for a drive, now i'm tempted to get that registered and bring it to the cruise (at least it would be a 1200 you guys havent seen before)

not sure what im going to do exactly yet, prob do some more work tomorow, but not sure to which car

could chuck in a freebie a14 i got and just run it for the cruise without re-tune, then put new rings in an a15 and swap that in witha re-tune for datnats

anyway thats my life story

boof, as long as you get the diff out a few days before the cruise i should be able to get it done.....handbrake will take a bit longer to get sorted though

and you've actually walked into the garage and figured out the SUs arent in your direct line of sight...i like the effort your putting in

ive got my own car problems too, trusty old L20b blew its head gasket( would keep driving it but dont want to risk getting stuck in melbourne) so ive gotta pull the head off and see whether to chuck a new headgasket in, or if i should go for my last running L series ....ive run out of paddock bombs with running L series so i need to get off my arse and built a healthy engine

but ill be there with some kind of L series, and working brakes
