Mmmm a sook hey? I got the whole front suspension for a 1400 bakkie which will now be installed into my 1200, great hey? Not so great when you don't get the castle nuts wo go onto the balljoints with. Why, because even though the old 1200 castle nuts are the same thread, they are not the same height.

Which means that the split pins don't go through the castle nut, but over it. No problem you say, go buy some...

Please tell me where, the Nissan agents don't have the originals in stock( and they never have), and every bolt and nut place I've been to in and around Pretoria only have the same ones as what was on the 1200 originally.

Shall I weld the lot together...

kululadotgroen i'm not sure whats happenin but could you build the castle nut up with some washers or grind a bit off the bottom of the nut so split pin lines up with the notch in the castle nut. just a thought to help you with your sook. My sook for today is that i have to go now and do some assignment work for tafe. Nite

I'm not to comfortable with putting washers in there, where the weren't intended to go. The original is much thicker underneath the castle part...

damn autronik

Seems that one or two the injector drivers are going bananas after the car heats up. Stopped the dyno time short. And here we are at 1.30am talking about it.

Sounds like a WRX on the way home from the dyno. It might be wiring I won't know until I've stripped back some wires. So I'll mispell Autronik for now.

Managed a 185kW at the wheels at 16psi with the curve still increasing at 45 degree angle at 8000rpm.

I need to adjust the cam wheels now to move the torque curve down and then wind more boost in. 7 degree on intake and 2 on exhaust.

The engine bay got pretty hot on the dyno. Anyway, my main whinge is that I'm not sure if Aubert will be my Hero after this.
