yeah, burke_a_lot's roo shooter was standard abart from the holes in the side of the aircleaner
seems as there is a stockish 120y on the thread that only ran a 20 or something
i dont think just coz its run down a roo or 2 it will run 3 seconds quicker

leave it out

The community has spoken - happy to get some agreement. Time removed for now....

glad others have my veiw .... i was begining to worry that my feral datrats A12 wasn't anywhere near its worth .... even toyed with the idea of slapping the orig 63000mile stock A12 with blown headgasket back in to try and keep up
my engine's putting close to 50kw at the wheels on an old and less than accurate dyno which reads well on the lower side of the world.
i'm hoping with a couple "little changes" and another tune that i'll get a couple power runs on a new dyno with a printout for all to see. plans are for this to be by datnats

It annoys me that a bufoon has posted a facetious ET. It was me who asked the webmaster to make that thread sticky.
It's fairly plain to see when a dreamer has posted B.S., as most of us have a fair idea of whats what.

Mildman, for the MPH its running a 14 sec time is achieveable my 120y could do that but i have trouble off the line, i run out the back door doing 89pmh with my old engine.

And tyrie im with you ACT needs the drag strip back.

Would a stock 56A gearbox hold up to the power & torque that a 14 second time would require?
Perhaps once, methinks, but I don't know about a few repeats.

I wonder where this vehicle was timed at as it's not the sort of car you would want to be seen dead in, amongst the serious racers.

EDIT
The specs say something about the fuel delivery system, [I've have also got force fuel injection] but this looks like a stock carb to me.

Did I mention that my stock 1200 coupe with auto pulls 11's if I leave out the spare & remove the air filter element? No?
There's a good reason for that.

haha i thought it was sus that when i saw it it said he ran a 17, then i laughed at him so he changed it to 14

You make a very valid point boofhead.
as I shave the tenths off my ET, My trap speed wont increase that dramaticly. I cut a 16.6@90mph, on my 1st run, and yet only gained 2mph on my trap speed with my 14.6.

I thank mildman for starting this discussion in another thread. That time log thread is what it's all about for me. Thats why I requested it be made sticky.
