Ca18det_man, 1.07.4 at Wakie

Thats really quick for any car!!
I've really got to go back there and try to beat my time. Maybe I'll find an alternative to the ol' 4.11 which might help a tad.

and 1.13.01 is not shabby at all Converted! I'd really like to do a supersprint with you one day.

I competed at the QR sprints this afternoon and lowered my best time from 64.1 to 62.58. If I can sort the brake fade and understeer issues I experienced today I'm sure I can dip into the 60's.
Regards Matty

The published results have come through & it looks like the 'Boss' took the class 3A record [up to 1600cc] for this track twice on Sunday. First with the 1:12.00 run, then again with the 1:11.61 time. With times like these in this car, it's no wonder the 'secret weapon's' construction is progressing at an unhurried pace.

'The Boss' [Chris Petersen]
Wakefield Park N.S.W. [Supersprint]
20th/6/06
1:12:00 [New Class 3A record]
Datsun 1200 coupe. with A15 & 'controlled fuel leak'

'The Boss' [Chris Petersen]
Wakefield Park N.S.W. [Suprtsprint]
20th/6/06 [The very next run]
1:11:61 [New Class 3A record]

Fell of the wagon a bit there but sssute, matty's and The Bosses times are now in!

Does 'The Boss' have an account here at 1200.com?

I was sure I had heard of 'The Boss' (Chris Petersen) doing a Bathurst Hillclimb. Here's the Aust Hillclimb Championships thread and the link to the official results. You'll find their times in Group 3J Imp Prod 0-1600cc class conveniently located right at the top of the results. Pretty quick too!

'The Boss' doesn't have an account here, but gets a look in when there is something that I want to show him.

At the Bathurst hillclimb in November '06, he was bumped into Grp. J, Imp Production [1600cc] by virtue of the fact that there is no passenger seat, [so I'm told], but he was up for the challenge anyway & with a blistering run of 31.81 seconds he lowered the record by 1.25 seconds if the official results are to be believed.

Many thanks to L18_B110 for the link to the official results.
