Hey guys wondering if you could help..

I i'm busy collecting parts to built my future A15 street engine. and the talked to a few guys and they said my DCOE 40 139. ( code on the side draughts) just won't work on a modified engine. said i must get a set of DCOE 40's 132 or lower.... mine came of an alfa GTV 2l... is this true .. ?

if you get them dyno'd they should be able to tune them to suit,

These carburetors are very versatile, with jets and emulsion tubes to exchange, I think you should be able to do it. Since your engine will be modified, you should be able to use the extra load.
I will try to find out into it.
