how do i get them shortened and what do you mean by this?
i got a set of stanza struts and a set of 120y struts/front end. is there any way of using the stanza stuff on the 120y struts?eg calipers, rotors and everythign else ?

On a lowered car, you run out of suspension travel when the strut leg is the standard length, this also means using shorter inserts.
Some people cut/weld the strut tube so you still have the thread at the top for the gland nut, some people cut the tube and retap the top (you need an engineer or machine shop to do this). You can view topic.
