Wow! You know your cars.
I'm fairly certain that is not a 68 Valiant next to the Datsun 510. The 68 had a divided grille (two sections). But I'm at a loss to say what it is...an Acadian?

It is (was) a Valiant.
According to the picture,it was taken in LA,according to the license plates. They started with "A" at the top of the state,& went to "Z" (Black plates). - Doug
