Beattie,

So far I think the inlets people want are alloy.

We'd need to get some steel qty's up to make it worthwhile (I might go for one myself)...

Just got another 2 quotes back. Neither of these places cut 10mm Ally - only 8mm

Exhausts only from Place 1:

5 off - 10mm Mild Steel - $15.50ea
10 off - 10mm Mild Steel - $13.78ea
20 off - 10mm Mild Steel - $12.93ea

8mm Aluminium inlets were about $25 out of interest...

(worthy of note was this place has no minimum order and no programming charge).

The other place was more expensive than the first 2 so not worth listing...

Good that so many Perth-ians are interested. cheaper postage

And Vannette inlet manifolds are braced at the top from factory too.

With the exhaust if you put the brace on the bottom of the flange you would not need to remove it after it is welded (unless if you wanted too).

like my current ones.

I'd be keen for an inlet one.

good prices.

especially for the inlet in which you can weld up 4 tubes and use bike carbs.

Yep:

Exhaust

Inlet

Just wondering if I should get the loose pieces quoted (without the hang-on brackets). Should bring the cost down on the inlet a bit....
