Hi Bozman, The car is worth what you ask for a person wanting a very rare 2 door sedan.
I would get the car out of the shed give it a wash and get a few good shots.
My 2 door was in a similar condition but the crappy bolt on panels are easy to source.

i recently bought the 2 door in adelaide thats was for sale. i was thinking of importing one from japan b4 i saw that one. it was gonna cost $4-8K. so thats cheap and its not a head case to comply. i agree if u wanna spend the cash on a ground up rebuild then whats a few rusty pannels. be luck just to see one here i recon

Obviously you blokes dont know a rare car and oppitunity when you see one let alone know what its worth.Good luck with the sale mate Id be up for it if I havent just gone and bought another 1200 hopefully someone who can appreciate what this car truely is will buy it and restore it to its former glory.

I believe this car would be worth $1000 to $1500 any day of the week, If it was closer to me I would buy it as I regret selling my second two door and would love another... but distance is a killer.

Yeah I agree that its worth what you got on it, I would love to take it, could afford it, but just moved house so I can accommodate 2 cars, haven't got the room for another...

Like it was previously stated, it would cost thousands to get one over here. I spent as much as you are asking bringing mine over from Perth and $1600 on insurance for my ute alone...
