It sounds like I could save 2 to 2.5 inches by switching to the van manifold. That might be enough to mount it and my existing carb but not a weber considering the adapter. Any other downdraft solution out there that would reduce height? I'm not even sure if my head has round or oval ports right now. That's something I would have to determine for sure before anything else.
