Replacing your 12A manifolds with ones from a 1500 lets the engine flow more easily with more room. espesilly good for racing engines. manifolds fit onto A12 engines nicley!

a12 have wrong shape port and putting an a15 on would be all bad

the mounting studs dont line up either

unless you have a gx a12, in which there would be no point cause you would be taking off twin SU's

I have an A14 engine and an A12 exhaust manifold doesn't bolt up to the under side of the inlet either

Hmmm i havn't tried an a14 on an a12. i have a datsun sunny speedway car and i was experimenting with ways to get more guts in the engine without disobeying the rules that we have to follow. We have a limited amount of modification that we can do because it's just a juniour class. I have an a12 engine but replaced the manifolds and head with those from a spare a15. the fit on nicley and run great with a sports cam.i have never tried the a14. i don't know much about them. They must be even more hard to find than the good old 1200s
