Does anyone use the WEBER 38 DGAS carby on their A15's?

Can anyone tell me the height of this carby from base to top (not counting air filter)? I need to check clearance for my bonnet, if it will even work on my engine.

Ah, but mine is in an MG Midget - not as much room under there as some might think! :)

Someone else told me that with the adapter and the air filter on it's seven inches tall. Does that sound about right? His has a rectangular K&N filter.
