i'm thinking the alloy looks nicer
actually, it might be even better to have a tri bar that attaches to the firewall

yesss! the tri bar is actually the better as it really decreases the fore/aft flex

Im making some at the moment, they should not be to far away. They will have steel end plates, and ally center rod with rose joint ends. They are at the laser cutters at the moment.
