Im not sure about the CA ones but I know that the SR turbo calipers are larger than the SR non turbo ones. Maybe that is why you guys are able to get them under smaller rims??

The ca model had the same brakes on the turbos and non turbos. In the '91 onwards models with the SR, the non turbos had the same brakes as the CA model but the turbo models had both a larger diameter disc and larger caliper.
