I saw your car at the last JCCS in Long Beach. It's nicer than my 1200

a few months back the cops set up a defect line on the highway pulling every car over and defecting all the vehicles they could, i was packing big bricks in my jocks cos i only have 1 point left on my licence and they could have got me for a number of things like seats rims engine mods and probly a number of other things on my ute, and the cops just smiled and said nice ute. the guy infront had a nice as monaro and defected him and the guy behind me in a merc got doneover too, must have been my lucky day or somthing

I think the driver's attitude is the biggest factor in determing whether you get hassled by the cops or not. Fair enough everyone can get unlucky, but if your doing the wrong thing at the wrong time, you'll be the one that gets done.

I always get pulled over for random breath and license tests and things (really random ) but have never got done

Go the tarago!! I have seen the American Bad-Cops police chases on TV and there are some crazy drivers over there. Ha ha you blokes had better be careful there getting lots of practice.
The last time i got done was on the freeway, a highway patrol following me off the exit ramp. Booking me for To low and a chrome air filter.
I think the main reason other than bad driving is an old car is going to have more wear and tear than a new car. so it easier to find faults, but a restored Datto is different. pull over for the show and shine.

The problem I have driving a Datsun is that theres only like 2 other 120Ys on the coast so if I do something not entirely legal people are going to remember the car.
But then again thats the price you pay for not driving a skyline like everyone else...
