The bells are different dude, I tried it. The dizzy is also on the back of the engine in RWD configuration. The Intake will also face the fire wall. The NA SR RWD are cheap in the states, but ka's are cheaper so more people go that route.

Bundy I bought my Sr20DE from a S13 silvia for $ 450. The FWD option is not good..I tried to do it with the 200hp version and you would beed to drop the dizzy and have coils. The VVT run by the ecu would be cancelled as you could not run the factory ecu with the coil packs etc etc...kept going round in circle until i just got an S13 one with cam gear quads and Autronic ECU...should scream.
Oh and the matter with getting a RWD gearbox to suit will be a nightmare...sorry dude...reject the offer even if its only $100 (unless its a 200hp VVT verision) then put that in an N14 pulsar....

I have done a ring around to most of the big importers around Australia and the cheapest set up I could find was $1800 and that was just and engine, box, computer and loom. For some reason they wont/dont do SR20DE front cuts. So on top of that $1800 I have to freight it to Townsville and then get allot of the fiddely S@#T like radiator, brackets etc...
Might have to bite the bullet and just buy it but I will exhaust all other options first. SO PLEASE HELP if you have a SR20DE set up for sale or know of one

The wreakers up here are a bit pricy and dont have too much in the way if import parts. The 1 importer up here wanted $2550 for S14 VVTI engine, box, computer and loom. Any info you can get for me will be great dude. I also dont really need the computer, more the loom as I am going to run a Halteck E6K.
So I only really need engine, box, radiator, loom and some minor brackets and fittings. For the time being I will have another look around the bone yards and see whats available

Do you already have the Halteck? Just take the Halteck money and combine it with the engine money and buy a DET :D
