I'm quite sure that the other four spark wires go to special ignition coil.. or the angle drive droppes the ratio to half from normal distributor speed, 1/4 crank that is. Can take more rev's maybe?
Or somekind of mechanical twinspark?

The angle drive of distributor is not in the homologation of PE10 so you can follow the rules of the year 1975 FIA book.

I understand about the "old boys club" with reference to getting parts
I have the same thing with the A9X boys

I'd just like one

I think it this way.

I'm glad over that there's so many people who want to drive, build and respect these old cars.

If there is some way I personally can help other enthusiats on their way I'm happy to do it. The more people I can help the happier I will be.

So if there's someone from that age when these cars where new and used in racing, I'm sure they'll respect what we are doing here.
Unluckily they don't have internet connection or will to use it in many cases..

Every time I race my car there lots of people coming to talk about the car in the servicearea.
And they are also happy that youngsters like many of us are driving the legends they once drived.

The Midsummerparty is near the end of this month. 26-29 I think.

So assuming one took the road Dattoman mentioned with ignition and stuff you could run these heads on the later A12\ A14\A15 engine blocks?

Yes you could.

Or make the dizzy connector directly to cam in fwd at least. Then the distributor gear doesn't get weared in high revving race engine that doesn't run smootly all the time as standard.

UPDATE:

Got one price offer just few minutes ago:

Castingplates(Modelling) + Head + Cover if ordered 20 pcs. would be 900euro's/1217.72USD/1453.49 Australian Dollars a peace without machining. Gets cheaper if ordered more.

The original pushrod mechanisms can be used with and extra bar that comes to the intake side.

needs six side planing and all wholes for bolts etc.

What does it sound like?

Oops, screwed up post. This one directly relates to my next post.

While nobody seems to have noticed it, four of the plug leads seem to terminate directly into the top of the rocker cover.

This one too seems to have four plug leads terminating into the top of the rocker cover.
There has to be a reason for it. It's not a distributor that was sourced from a V8 engine is it?

A study of these two pictures would seem to confirm that there is only a single plug in each cylinder.
