That type would probably be better but at that stage it would not be a AY12 head anymore, but completely new head instead.
The type of the hemi chamber is not a bottleneck of this thing.

I thought since you are going for so much admirable effort, you might be interested in the latest design available at the moment in hemi-like twin sparks (chamber is shallower but awesome)
