thanks for that sooty. I think that I might experiment with double stock bars then.

I'll measure the diameter of mine on the weekend - as it fits....well whatever was on there when I bought the car - the CA18DET fits around the swaybar - just not sure on the diameter of it.

Thanks for that Ben,

I think the standard bar is 16mm and the 120y bar is 20mm.

silly question maybe ... but what tire pressure were you running ??

i cant think of much that would be contributing to the body roll that you haven't looked at during the build ??

can you or lags rememer how it handled in the wags for body roll ?? not that the was was ideally set up for turning corners

maybe try and get onto matty to see what he's running as well ?

have a look here
and at this one here

Dave

Girlfriend just dragged me out to the garage for something - took a few quick pics whilst I was there - seems I have a 20mm sway bar and it clears the sump of the CA (ca18det_man crossmember).

Here's some pics

Hi Dave
I'm running a custom front swaybar to clear my winged sump but it is still the stock diameter. I find it ideal.

How soft have you got the rear Konis set?

Matty

appeared with valid input to the thread pretty much straight after i suggested dave chase you for some advice
nothing bad at all ...

plus i got to look thru your photo album again ... the front shots of the ute, and the ute as whole are always good to check out when looking for inspiration of tough looking stances
