I got a quote the other week from the exhaust shop.he is gonna do a 3'' stainless exahust with custom dump pipe for $800. I thought that was pretty good.
Custom might be the way to go if you get it for the right price mate.

$800 is a great price for a 3" system if that includes catalytic convertor, buy it. i paid $400 for the cat alone

Yeah $800 sounds really good.. i am budgeting up to $1000 for a full 3" mandrel.. if i can get one for that price i will be more than happy:)

i been looking on mildmans website, http://mildman.datsunprojects.org/White_index.htm

and in his 1200 seden his running the stock ca18det dump pipe..


i thought all 1200 engine bays are the same

yeah that includes cat and a muffle. I'm getting it done at Penrith City Exahaust. he rallys datsuns and seems to know his stuff. Nice bloke too

####. 800 for a full system.. i got quoted 600-800 for a split dump pipe ONLY. they do really good work but you pay for it. and its hard to walk in anywhere when your a young bloke with a hotted up car and get a good price. they think you dont know what your talkin about. you get the occasional place that will honestly help you out and give you advise.

Yeah I can confirm that at least for now the stock dump pipe seems to fit.

I use ca18det_man's crossmember rather than Maddat - but I think it still fits with a maddat one two - I tried and couldn't fit it with a maddat crossmember fitted in the car backwards, but I think if it was fitted the right way it would have fit. I just couldn't be arsed trying and fitting crossmembers is never fun - just went with the ca18det_mans one.
