Good to hear SSS... then there are other options such as One peice tailshafts, whole diff bolt in packages, complete wiring sets etc etc..... Is your ute gonna be the Maddat sponsor ute now?...could be very nice one to start on. If you need one up here lets talk haha... Could be keen, looking for a upgrade at some stage! ...already got most stuff on the my struts hehe

What sort of gear are the 1000 boys/girls wanting. Front disk conversions? Engine conversions?

The castor bars I'm using are the blank hole/ threaded hole ones. Couldn't find the tape measure to see how long they actually are? I should of done that when I swapped the struts a few monts back and I had the two lying around

engine conversion kits would be nice, but since the swap options are limited, im not sure what you could in fact offer.

cut down diff housings perhaps
modified radiators
gearbox adaptor plates (eg 60a )
reverse switch ataptors for the 60a into a manual tunnel
turbo manifolds

I guess the list goes on and on and on.
i guess that if you offered the same soft of stuff in the 1000 as the 1200 then you would certainly be on the right track

as far as demand goes, well I cant answer that.

Cheers Scott
There are many with drum brake utes & other non Coupe 1200's that could use a relatively simple & affordable front brake upgrade that was better than the 1200 Coupe/120Y disc brake, & did not involve a strut change. A bolt-on kit for drum brake 1200 struts.
Nothing humungous needed, but something from a larger 4 cyl car that is still readily available in wrecking yards would be good.

This would serve very nicely in just about all A series powered 1200's
