can anyone tell me if the dog leg gearboxs to suit a series are all option boxes or are the out of anything road regoed ?

Would depend on what country you come from - in America and Japan you could get them....I don't think they graced Australian shores though.

I imagine the wiki may expand on it further.

Depends on which dog leg gearbox you are refering to.
The 56A gearbox was an option in late 1200 GX models & also Sunny GX's [B210]
These are street legal cars & some were allegedly fitted with the 'option 1' [competition] version of the gearbox by dealers at customer request & cost.

The 60 series dogleg gearbox was, as far as I can tell, strictly an option.

I believe that the 63 series gearbox was standard fitment in the US 'Nifty Fifty' This was a B210 with claims of 50 MPG.
If it was used in any other model, then I haven't heard of it, ... hopefully one of our US mambers will clarify

All of the cars mentioned were street legal stock models

Thanks guys must work out what ive got ....... what should i be asking for it if i was to sell it and should i sell it together with an a15 race motor or seperate to achieve the best bucks for it
