I don't have blueprints, but I do have one of each (well an A12 and a SR20, anyway) on a cart in my garage right now. Would a photo of the size comparison help?

If your planning to drop a SR into a 1000, your biggest obstical will be height. You may have to have a big bonnet hump or modify the SR's sump. OR make a coilover setup with a modified x member? Or all of the above.

SR in a 1000 would be very fun!

My idea is take of the engine of my primera and put in the 1000 with greddy coilovers;)
I will mout itb's on the engine with megasquirt ecu so i think that the bonnet will not interfer, but if i have any problem with the bonnet a sump will look great;))))

Ooooo FWD SR into a RWD car... have fun. Its do-able but usually agreed its not worth the effort.

How are you going to design the coilover steup?

The hight isnt the plenum... its the whole engine. 1000s have a very short engine bay so the rocker cover may even interfere! I dont even know if anybody on here has tried a SR... CA apparently JUST fits!

I will puut the engine as much in the front as possible to make it fit. and the gearbox tunel i have to cut and make a new one, then the radiator will be in the rear of the car with big fans

If you are putting the engine as far forward as you can, just remember that you will need as much traction as you can get. So ideally you want the block to be sitting directly between the front wheels if not slightly behind the centre of the front wheels, so it isn't "front heavy".
Just make sure you get every measurement you can before you start, because it would suck to do a whole bunch of fab work and then have the car handle like a tin of dog food.

I'm making all the calculation about weight distribution on the axels and, they are giving me abou 55% on the back and 45% on the front. Give me this relation because i will put the fuel tank on the back and the battery and make a rollbar whith 8 points that will have the replacement tire on the back an also the radiators.

Sorry about the delay and for inability to post pictures right now. My wife took the camera to work and accidentally left it there. Anyway, I measured from the table that I have both engines sitting on and the A12 is 52 to 53 cm from the table to the top of the valve cover. The SR20DE is is 60 cm from the table to the top of the valve cover.

The measurement on the A12 does not include the oil cap or the breather nipple.

Here are a couple of links to pictures of an A12 and a SR20 both in the chassis that I built.
The first one has a tuve that the oil cooler is zip tied to which has been removed in the second photo.
