Yeah my mistake, the Gtir version was the biggest released on the SR20. I was automatically thinking S13 for some reason. One of them probably would be a bit too laggy for a street car on an A-series.

I think you'll find that the S15 version is larger but due to it's ball bearing core will be more responsive than an S14 T28 bush bearing version. The S15 turbo will not be any more responsive than the T25g off the S13 Sr20 though. The T25g would be a good turbo for the A14 even if a little big. You could still keep a relatively high compression ratio improving off boost response because even running this to 14psi etc on an A series will be well within the efficiency range of the compressor meaning relatively cool inlet temps.

i have this turbo on my a14 and without engine mods and some boost it really is too big. i run 12psi with turbo cam and pistons. it is not on full boost until nearly 4000rpm.

just to let you know there are at least 3 different turbos that came on a sr20. the best one is frm a s15 200sx. is a little smaller but more importantly has smaller air ratio on the exhaust housing so spools up faster.

yeah give it a go for sure... you will have to fabricate a manfold etc but I reckon it would be fun
