Just wondering what thoughts you all had about these particular extractors. I'm wondering if you all think it would be wise to go to the trouble of fitting these up to my L20b.
I really don't know what I'm looking at, but to me they are no great work of art.
I don't really care what they look like as long as they sound cool and give me a little extra get up and go.
The rest of the system is a fairly descent 2 &1/4 " sports street legal.
Also should I get any work done to these pipes before I have them fitted. Cheers all.

I dont think they would breathe much better than the original manifold especially on a 2ltr, especially if they arent mandrel bent. What carbs do you have on the car?

These are my pacemakers from a L20.

twin weber side draught 40s. My mechanic tells me with huge jets.
So mandrel bent means that the pipe stays open on the bends ?

Yeah that right, you can't really see on your picture if they do or not. Baz from Datsport swears on using the original manifold until you've got the cam/carbs/ignition sorted and then make the thing breathe better, they look about the diameter of the ones I sold to rainer in NSW.

I'm going to get a mate to look at them for me, to see if its all worth while.
The pipes are not deformed in any way on the bends, so this suggests that they are mandrel bent, so I suppose all is not lost.
Any suggestions on what cam to look out for ?
I'd like it to be street drivable and also get into hill climbs or circuit racing when funds allow it.

which cast exhaust manifold are you using? Apparantly the s2 bluebird one flows really well. I had one on my L20B with twin 40s, cam, high-comp etc. They dont have the big square obstruction in the middle of the no.2 and 3 runners like the normal ones
