Hey Guys, Im new to the dat 1200 thing so im full of stupid ?s, Does The a14, a15, or even 1600 motor bolts straight into a dato 1200, or does it need some mods of the engine cross member

A14 and A15 will be a pretty much basic bolt in , the 1600 is a different type of donk alltogether so would need much more work.

but once again not direct boltin....


a series is the easiest, will bolt in if you have a post 1974 jul ute x member, otherwise just some 2 inchs of steel plate will make you some adaptors for the mounts. check mildmans website, its all listed there (i mean all of it)
