any head gasket will do!! haha ill be up at 6 tomorrow ( possibly earlier ) and i gotta whip the head off and have a look..and im gunna need a manifold gasket..then i gotta get ball joints ( im thnking i have 120y struts as i have disc front end ? ) and a new passenger caliper and disc.. then it will be my daily =] but it will be drivable tomorrow definatly!! with or without ball joints n caliper etc..

seen two utes this week a red one and a mint white one, i talked to the red one he is a raafy and said he would log onto the site for the next cruise, i also left my number with the white one so hopefully he returns the message. we really need those "youve been spotted cards".

I've got to do a brake bleed and stuff before I could head out tomorro. It was good this arvo cos there wasn't any dramas with my motor when I ran it, do have to retorque the headbolts after a drive and fiddle with the rocker arm clearances

how many gaskets? I got a coupe of head gaskets and stuff but they're not the monotorque thinner metal type, they're the older thicker looking type

do you have a vrs kit spare? or anyone else for that fact??

good news for the ute boys.. i finally got the motivation and investigated my motor, turns out it was really sucking n sucked out the bolts that hold the air cleaner to the carby, manifolds are off and im having a look inside the motor probably tomorrow, just gunna pull the head off, i still have compression also so hopefully its all good =] while the head off dad is telling me to get it crazily ported, and get a manifold for my 40mm mikuni's
