I use a 13/16 Sunny master in my 1000 kits
No booster Up from an 11/16 single (or tandem on a coupe) It suits it well I just have to make pushrods to suit the masters The 11/16 master is captive (rod stays in master) wheras the Sunny used to sit on a booster So I make a special rod to use the Sunny master unboosted You may need to do this also depending on your original master If you try to use the original captive rod in the booster master you may have issues

Can any one tell me what size masters 240k's run (i think 7/8). I got one at U-pull it because i'm upgrading to r31 strut and 4 spot z32 calipers. I grabed the booter as well. Will this suit my app?

i was running an unboostered 7/8th(240k)....got over it and added a booster in as part of the latest brake upgrade
alot better for the street now that it has a booster, but i think i'll soon be upgrading to a 15/16th to get rid of some pedal travel. got 300zx brakes all round and they run a 1 inch or 17/16 from factory so i think the 7/8th is a bit small

The 300zx boosters are massive though aren't they (will they fit with a CA). What booster will you run with the 1" or 17/16 master. I'm only going to be running std r31 fronts to start with, the 7/8 master will be fine for them wont it?

you can use modify one of the small can boosters to use the later nissan masters, yet to get a late nissan master to test though
but i think i'll just go for a 280zx 15/16th as it will bolt straight up 7/8th should be more than enough for r31 brakes

Are you still running the 11/16 master cylinder?
I never did change my M/C in the end. Wound up going S13s on the front, and although it does have a whisker more travel than is ideal, the pedal has excellent feel and control. You can view topic.
