We have an 07 XT forrester, lovely sound.

The Subaru's and Datsun's can mix and play nicley together.

My Forester and the Cherrys dont mind sharing the shed and driveway.

Installing a 1963 VW engine would make it sound like a Subaru wouldn't it?

no VW engines just sound like a constant exhaust leak where as WRX's have a note

There was a guy down Cape Town, he installed a 2.1 watercooled VW boxer in his beech buggy, put a nice puffer on it with some throttle bodies en injectors o take care of the fueling. At the time there was nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing that could beat it half way down the 400. The only cars that overtook it, and not very fast, were the V8 funny cars. The rest only saw it's back side the rest of the 400.

porsche boxer engines sound sort of similar to subaru ones...

if u want a datsun to sound uneven maybe mix up the firing order....

Wanna make it worse, just lag the dizzy a little....
