nope, I measured from the centre of the balljoint to the centre of the bush at the inner end. same length.

mik if you have true blue stanza lca's ive got some late model 120y lca's (which are reportedly shorter.... maybe?) with the same ball joint bolt spacing as stanza

also have my 1200 drum brake front end lca's which are the same that you could try if you want.

well if the LCA is to long u could do what i did and shorten it , i took the control arm to the local tool shop and brought a hole saw that was tight on the out side of the bush and used it to remove the weld away from the weld thus letting u move its placement in the required amount then simply reweld it in . ps u will require a new bush kit

im assuming the track width bothers you visually since you dont have scrub issues?

if so thought about bolt on spacers for the rear?

well the track widt is what bothers me, tryes dont really stick out of front. Just when lowered did create some rubbing issues until i droped the tyre profile.

I also do have camber tops alread for neg camber.

I am using 13 x 6 0 offset rims a t present but had 14 inch et rims before, fine on front but erribel on rear. so bad that the decreas on the rear track made the car handle and understeer like a pig. its amazing how rim offset can effect handeling so much!

From reseach maddat are not available shorter, they give more length in fact.

I guess another option i have is more lenght for more neg camber to tuck the top of the tyre/rim under the guard more and protrude more from the bottom of the radius.

Would corner a bit better too at the expense of the inner tread patterns

yeah 1200 and stanza arms are the same lenght, but the main difference is the different bolt spacing for the balljoint
dont know about the castor arms thing though, as im using modded 1200 castor arms with my sunny/stanza lcas

120y stub axle angle is different to stanza, but it should actually give more neg and allow less wheel clearance

the track increase (without measuring) would come from the ball joint being longer/further out and the hub and what not also being bigger/further out

but i use TRX rims so have no trouble with excessive track width

well perhaps the stanza lca's that i have arent infact stanza.

my apologies. The lca's that came out of my 76 1200 ute (drum brakes), the 78 model 120y lca's i have and the lca's that i bought as 'stanza' lca's are all identical in every way.

obviously i was mislead.

anyway, im pretty sure maddat etc adjustable lca's are actually desigined to make them longer to give more negative camber. but if you had some that were shorter, and had heaps of adjustment in your strut tops aswell as adjustable castor rods that 'might' work.

my 1200 ute lca's were exactly the same as the sunny ones,EDIT: i actually used stanza lca's ,i also have a set of sunny's. its the length of the balljoint that is longer.
Quote:
The stanza and sunny look very similar to 120y and late model 1200 ute but if you put them side by side they are longer.

and mine is a late model ute too. 81 drum front
