i was going to run a standard vl fuel pump.
3/8 in 5/16 out.(cant change fittings.)

so should i run 5/16 from efi pump to fuel reg and 3/8 from there to the rail???
or
piss pump off and get 1 with 3/8 in and out.

i am looking for a rissing rate reg maybee malpasi
or a el cheepo 1 off ebay.

I think 5/16" should really feed the engine well enough. So I don't think you need to change at this point.

I've actually been told that using the 044 might be a bit too much overkill and just heat up the fuel....but I'm committed now and we'll see.

I rather have too much than not enough.

VL and 5/16 should be plenty though,

wheres the safest LEGAL way

I don't think running rubber hose through the cabin will be OK.

I'm not even sure in a road car if steel fuel line in the cabin is OK.

On a race car it's OK, that's what I'm building....if your going to engineer it you might need to check with an engineer....as I don't know if it is legal for a road car!

through the tunnel.....?????????
not through the car.....
the orig goes through tunnel

but it will be hard to screw clamps in there
then it has to fit rear brake line aswell

Ah ok - sorry was thinking through the cabin.

Even in the tunnel I'd be using steel fuel line, you wouldn't want to nick the rubber on some tree branch or something and end up with fuel pissing out at 6bar.....

just to clear up.... steel fuel line (covered for its protection) through the cabin is fine as long as there is no connections anywhere in the cabin

i bought fuel line from pirtek... if you know the length you want they will flare the ends for you (i measured the stock pipe roughly with a tape measure and it worked out fine for me)

and you can bend it up by hand without a problem

so no tools required for that

use the stock line as a return pipe

What did they flog it for per meter? Im miles away from even having to worry about this im still working out if It'll fit! but would be a good resource to come back to if there were some figures thrown around.

think it was between $30-50 for 3/8 from back of coupe (fuel tank under back) to engine bay

but i could be miles off

im sure it wasn't uber expensive, i remember thinking it wast too bad
