Thanks, Evan

Evan and Duncan

There is a mold made and I will be making more. I will get some pics of them installed when my son gets home.

Wow! You had an injection mold made for these cowl vents?
That's pretty cool. So now can you throw in some colorant and make them any color you want.

You may need a special treatment to get paint to stick to the polycarbonate. A buddy had the bright idea to make the front fender flares on his rally car out of polycarbonate. When we painted the fenders the paint peeled off with the masking tape!

Thanks! Looking forward to seeing them. My originals are faded and cracked. (As most of them probably are by now)

I have never had a bad experiance with painting polycarbonate. Yes the signs are generally back sprayed but we also do alot of first surface paint as well.

Years ago I had a Warn winch solenoid cover made the same way. This is on a JEEP mind you...it saw rocks and mud and such. It still looks great today in fact. Painted gloss black.

Remember I do work in a Major Sign Fabrication shop.

We do Starbucks(everybody knows them, right?) All of the way-finding in Qwest Field and Safeco field in Seattle, Even signs for the SF Giants. Lots of national accts. as well.

Ive been doing this for nearly 20 yrs. Getting paint to stick, is no problem.
