Honestly, they are a bloody expensive piece of kit, and parts are hard to find. However, they are almost indestructible once you've got 'em right.

how much do they cost to build.....i think i remember when a mate of mine was getting quotes for his 320i that a set of rings was close to the $700 mark

i was getting some pretty cheap qoutes on parts but when it came to the genuin stuff its wasss getting expensive like water pump and dizzy. but stuff like gaskets and rings werent very expensive at all ive got a list of pretty much every thing to repalce comes to about a 1000 bucks include a water pump but not dizzy coz they are around 500 for a reco'd unit.................oh and by the way they arent really that heavy about the same as the ca
