Hey there guys,

This is probably a dumb question to the more experienced guys but in the next week or so i will be picking up an a14 i have recently purchased that has been completely rebuilt and with twin webber, extracters, cam etc and it will be my first time transporting an engine so just wondering how to best go about it.

Just wanted to know if anyone had some hints and tips. It is a complete engine and box and will be going in my ute as is so i don't want any costly mishaps.

Will i need a crane to lift it in and out of my ute or will a few blokes be able to lift it?

What is the best way to position and secure it in my ute?

What is the best way to store the engine once i get it to my place?

As i said having never done it before and never seen it being done just want to know the best way to go about it.

Thanks guys
Trav
