That reminds me, in USA we didn't get 4-door Posts either. Maybe somebody might want one.

One club member already spoke up for a 4-dr or 2-dr Wagon.

Trust me i love my 1200 post (2 door sedan ) would never give my baby away it's just ran a 11.012 down the 1/4 mile doing a very good job the car is 1 of 14 car's inported to australia from south africa in 1969 ive owed it now for 17 years and it's been set up for drag racing for 16 years now

Let's see:
* $2k for a decent daily-drive type vehicle
* $1k for shipping (1/2 container, $2k for two cars)
* $1k profit for the dealmaker (per two cars)

That's $4,500 USD per car. I'd pay that for a ute delivered to west coast port like LA, Oakland, Portland or Seattle.

But the dealmaker would need to do some work: arrange for buyer's inspection, escrow to handle the money, steamcleaning, paperwork, transportation to the docks, shipping, and warranty that the paperwork was good to get the title in the next country.

I have a pritty mint 1978 1200 ute to swap for a 1200 2 door sedan.

let me know if we can make this happen.

i think most of the 1200 audience are ute fans here in aus. there are a few 2 doors around but they dont sell readily...

I say export them on an exchange basis only. 2dr sedan for a ute and/or wagon.
Just don't set it up untill I find a spare sedan to TRADE.
