yeah d i know, engenieering wise more like a sr but from capacity and power to stroke wise, more like a g series.

Fortunately nothing like them in the bore and strokes either
CG13DE bore x stroke = 71mm x 80.5mm = 1275cc CGA3DE bore x stroke = 72mm x 82.8mm = 1348cc G13B bore x stroke = 74mm x 75.5mm = 1298cc G16b bore x stroke = 75mm x 90mm = 1590cc Not scaled down either as even though the weights are pretty close the G series are just a tad lighter because the micra seems to be sand cast where the Suks pressure die cast blocks. Either way the CG are beefy and light.

Then micra engine puts out some good power if you want to pretty much everything about the micra go to this site www.micra.com.au i have owned 2 of them, the only fault with them is the timing chain guides wear out and the only replacement is from nissan and you have to buy every part seperatly and is very expensive, but a great engine and car, responed well to turbo as seen on this site, have a look, just finding a gearbox might be a problem, would be good though.

The micra engine is a great engine. There was one band from under 2 litre sport sedan series because it made to much power it revd very hard. It was built buy peter teig who is a sports sedan guru. The engine made just under 400 Hp at the fly wheel no body could make that power from a N/A 2litre so cams stopped turbos from running. Now you you can run a turbo in the a.s.s.a under 2 litre class but they have to run restrictors in the inlet so the cg13 wont perform. The micra engine weighs about 50kg with no hang ons so there is aood power gain just in the weight saving. I think it would be a great conversion i want to do it myself
And buy the way i have been talking to the feral errol he is liking the tida idea You can view topic.
