Well I only noticed it driving at night in the headlights of the following car the exhaust seemd to be blowing a bit of grey stuff in the upper revs in 2nd and 3rd gear...had a mate tail me in daylight and he confirmed it.

I can rev it out of gear....nothing
but it seems that under load and high revs its blowing a steady stream of smoke.

Last time I checked there was a bit of crap on the 2nd and 3rd plugs...

Have been trying not to drive it too much as a result till i get some $ to get it looked at...but its breaking my heart to see it sitting there in the driveway.

Anyone got any preliminary diagnostics in the mildy hopefully positive? IE:not what im thinking it is...rings, impending doom and/or big $?

Running lean doesn't cause smoke.

Grey/blueish white, that doesn't evaporate but blows away is oil burning. White/grey that evaporates/dissapates is water vapor.
