changing springs is fun and easy! all you need to do is lay the strut on the ground, stand all over it with your steelcap boots and use a spanner to keep your hand out of the way of the nut when it comes off.
Personally I use a rattle gun cos it's way quicker but the other steps remain the same

I always use a sheet of carpet to stop bits flying out all over the place, and some strong fencing wire to keep the stock spring compressed and with the shorter spring you should be able to do the nut up without compressing the spring.
You could always just buy spring compressors but whats the fun in that (i've got some just cant find them).

yes coops im listening spring compessors are good to use coz thats what they are made for i used bluebird rear springs and im about to put in KYB inserts as monroe gt gas doesnt like motorkhana and khanacross even with the bluebird springs if u want really stiff spings use lj torana stock or sports front springs

Gas shocks are just crap, too much rebound for such a little car, makes it too skittery, KYB's are great.
